  • Medical customer service representatives supply our clients with details about the extent of the patient’s coverage and/or have an authorization for admission. MCSR should be able to process and disseminate vast amounts of accurate information.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Answering telephonic and email inquiries in a timely manner.

    • Deferring queries to the team leader or any similar role if unable to answer them.

    • Furnishing members and health care practitioners with details regarding members' benefits.

    • Granting pre-authorizations for medical treatment, if covered.

    • Greeting customers in a friendly, professional manner using the suggested script.

  • Right after you apply, you will receive an email from us letting you know we’ve received your application.

    About one to two weeks later, you’ll receive another email with an update on your application or asking you to book yourself in for an interview.

    This can vary during busier periods, but our HR department is always working hard to respond to you as quickly as possible.

  • Each role and level can be different, but generally, our process takes 3–4 weeks from the initial conversation with human resources through to a decision on the outcome. (And we hope for you that it’s a big YES.) We will keep you updated along the way to ensure you know what to expect and if there are any changes in the timeline.

  • You’ll meet a bunch of personalities with great potential and goals in mind along the way to give you as much context as possible. It’s always great to get a variety of perspectives. It will vary from role to role, but in most cases, you will meet people from human resources, operations, and your future teammates.

  • Tip 1: Be yourself

    Tip 2: Don’t overthink it

    The thought of doing an interview can be a little daunting, which is normal and even us had to go through the same process and feelings. Every team member felt the same way as you do now, and yet they were able to succeed. So, relax, take a deep breath, and get yourself ready for some questions. Rest assured, we will guide you through.

    Tip 3: Do your prep

    Learning as much as you can about us prior to the interview is always a smart idea. It would be wise to start by looking at our social media. At the bottom of this page, there are links to all of our social media accounts.

    We also advise you to familiarize yourself with the interviewers you will be speaking with. Visit their profiles on LinkedIn to learn more about what they were doing before joining BP Global and what their current roles are. You might find something in common or a shared connection.

    Tip 4: Have your questions ready

    We want to get to know you as much as you want to get to know us throughout the interview.
